The data can be used to debrief post-race on tactical choices, to analyse competitor's route and winners' strategies, or just to show family and friends one's 608 nm route to the famous Fastnet Rock... and back !
Download the KML file viewable on Google Earth here : http://admin.octracker.net/fastnet2009.kml (Open the file in Google Earth, unselect all the boats and start a "find" request to find your boat, select it and check on the map).
Once the race is over, the Race Player will enable to replay the whole race - it is limited to 12 hours replay at the moment to guaranty a fast loading time and smooth display.
PosMaxSea files will also be available once the race is over.
A full ranking page is available on the 2009 Rolex Fastnet Race website, and allows to review the last 24 hours worth of rankings for all the boats. Again, the full content of the data will be available once the race is over.
